London Underground Cross Stitch Project: Part 2

16 Apr

Today saw a MAJOR setback.  One error on the Waterloo and city Line exposed an error in the Circle Line which means it is time to strip everything back and begin again with just the Metropolitan Line and an accurate stitch count on the Metropolitan Line.  On the upside of all this at least now you get to see this project from the very start.

My empty spreadsheet set up as a cross stitch pattern grid in Microsoft Excel

The Metropolitan Line was easy to cut, copy, and paste since I KNEW that the line had been done correctly thanks to matching up the stitch count with the original pattern. That means that my pattern now looks like this:

The Metropolitan Line was the first line I placed on my cross stitch pattern of the London Underground and I double and triple checked stitch count with the original pattern

As I sign off today I am beginning work on the Circle Line. See you tomorrow when I hope to have us back to where the pattern was when you first saw it in Part 1

Glad to know I have an audience starting to form for this! I’m already hard at work on Part 3
