Princess Charlotte is a Britain’s Youngest Working Royal in Birthday Photos

1 May

On 2nd May Princess Charlotte of Cambridge turns five and to mark the occasion her parents have released 4 new photographs.

The photographs show Charlotte taking part in the Cambridge family’s efforts to assist the elderly and vulnerable in her community. One photo shows her knocking on a door with a parcel of homemade pasta in one hand.

I absolutely love the fact that the Cambridge children are helping with volunteer efforts during this lockdown. Seeing Charlotte in action is a reminder that you are never too young to lend a hand and no effort is too small to make some sort of impact.

Wouldn’t you love to see this little one knocking on your door, even if you could not open the door and interact with her?

The Duke and Duchess also chose to release this more traditional portrait of Charlotte.

All of the photos were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge in April on the Sandringham Estate.

It is truly striking how much Charlotte looks like her Great-Grandmother the Queen and also like her cousin Lady Sarah Chatto at this age.

And, last but not least my long time readers and dear friends would think something were terribly wrong if I did not comment on just how much I love the absolutely adorable houndstooth print dress by Zara that the young princess is wearing. I do love me some houndstooth and am thrilled any time that I see it on any of the royal ladies.
