Social Media Experience

2011 A Petite Princess http://www.apetiteprincess.com Editor-in-Chief Established in July 2011, the site follows the fashions of Her Royal Highness, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and works to find petite alternatives for  readers under 5’4”. The site also provides information on the various charities and appeals that Catherine and other members of the British Royal Family  support. Accompanying FaceBook Page and Twitter account are regularly updated and are used to effectively drive traffic to posts on the site as well as to other articles or sites of interest to readers. As Editor-in Chief, responsibilities include: site design, authoring posts, working with sources to verify background details and other stories before publishing, researching fashion alternatives, contacting charitable organizations to coordinate plans to promote their efforts on the site and obtain any special information to be highlighted, establishing editorial and photo use policies, establishing advertising agreements, regular updating of Facebook and Twitter accounts to reflect current activity on the site and to keep pace with fast-changing events until a story can be properly researched and written.    

Theater Related Work Experience 

2008-2009 House Manager Ferrum College Ferrum, Virginia  responsibilities included assisting in greeting the audience as well as special guests and school officials, ensured all guests enjoyed a positive theatre experience, supervised front of house, oversaw operation of the Box Office  

2007 Director’s Assistant Ferrum College Ferrum, Virginia  Responsibilities included publication of audition notices, development of rehearsal schedule and coordinating time off as required by actors, photography from beginning of auditions through final night of performance, creation of playbill, coordinating ticket sales for required viewing by entire Freshman class and other specific classes as required by professors, creation of multimedia display used during performance, acquisition of specific props, greeting audience as well as special guests and school officials, ensured all guests enjoyed a positive theatre experience, enhanced VIP guest experience by arranging for special seating and admittance.
